Whoa....slow down there B...my tongue firmly planted in cheek for that one, as a bone thrown to the Bohemian Grove conspiracy theorists. I'm waiting to break the story about the highly secretive club Garcia was a member of in the 90's in Hawaii. Rumor has it they were clear cutting cocobolo and importing it to Pennsylvania where the Amish would make ukulele's from it.

These ukes were then sold to finance a right wing office supply company, which was responsible for manufacturing the manilla card stock used for the ballots in the 2000 Florida elections. The infamous faulty ballots and their fatal flaw was named after Grove member Chad Stuart of the folk group Chad & Jeremy. Another member of the famed "Cocobolo Grove" was Donovan Leitch, but the phrase "Hanging Donovans" sounded too sinister for the operation.

Even 14 years after Garcia's death, the link between him and the Cocobola Bunch are tenuous at best, although photographs have been circulating of Garcia farting in his wetsuit off of Maui. Remember the big fishkill of 92? Yup, Jerry's carbon footprint, so to speak.

Scary. Thanks for the link - spent all last week at work streaming Jerry Archives' stuff you posted back when.

While in law school, in my EU law class had a former high ranking Austrian govt official and int'l banker talk about what was then current re the Maastricht treaty and said all of that stuff was window dressing because once had countries on EU currency the deal was done. central banks and the federal reserve (but don't pay attention to me as I'll probably start to talk about nonsense like that little owl of moloch hiding on the back of the dollar bill....)
